Questions
About this build
Is Tidy Site Renovations a real company?
No. It's a demo brand, made up to show how a renovation contractor's website can be planned and built. The pages, layout and setup are real. The reviews, licence numbers and prices on it are placeholders.
What pages does a renovation contractor website need?
A homepage, one page for each service you sell, a page for each area you want work from, trust pages (reviews, about, licence and insurance, warranty) and a contact page. This build has 12.
Why give every service its own page?
Homeowners search for the job, like “bathroom renovation Scarborough”. A page built for that one search answers it better than a single page that lists everything. It's the same structure behind contractor web design at The Ant Firm.
What is the site built on?
WordPress with Elementor, so the contractor can change text and photos without a developer.
